Given the legislative issues scheduled to be voted on at Thursdays Cary Town Council meeting, it is important to understand that Cary may be planning to ANNEX RDU Airport and SWIFT CREEK!

Every ten years there is a census in this country. After the census, all areas must be re-apportioned (divided up equally by population) for elected representation

An example is this: If the area you live in declines in population, you would not want the area that grew in population to have more "representation" than you do. So, every 10 years (at least) districts are divided up so they remain close to equal in population.

In 2001, when the Town of Cary "Re Districted" they included areas which they apparently felt would be future growth areas up until 2010 (The next time a national census is done)

You can see clearly by THE TOWN OF CARY'S OWN MAP that they apparently have plans to annex both the (RDU) Raleigh Durham International Airport and the Swift Creek area.

THIS IS JUST ONE MORE REASON WHY www.STOPCARY.com is stating that Thursdays Town Council meeting is so important to attend. The legislative agenda and the above Cary Map tell the story why they don't want other areas to have a choice!
